Chelsi
Owner
Chelsi worked her way up from kennel tech for years at CCR to now owner in 2022! She spends most night shifts with the dogs and you can also find her part-time in the grooming salon!
Kaila
Manager, Groomer
Kaila lives on Camano Island with her boyfriend Jesse, her dog Charlie, Bucket, Mo, Murphy, and Willow! She is a certified groomer and manages CCR!
Jennifer
Staff
Jennifer joined the team with a background of working as a veterinary technician, dog walker, and pet sitter. She loves taking care of all the wonderful doggies at Camano Canine Resort.
Natalie
Staff
Natalie lives on Camano with her family and my 3 dogs. She loves going down to the beach to watch whales, or to just walk the dogs and relax. She loves working at CCR and meeting and playing with all the different dogs, seeing all their different personalities.
Ella
Staff
Ella lives in Mount Vernon with her boyfriend and their two dogs, Milo and Phoebe. She is a total animal lover and love spending time with dogs, treating everyone’s pets like her own. She also adores her hamster and really just enjoys being surrounded by furry (and fluffy) friends!
Leiana
Staff
Chelsi’s daughter Leiana helps with night shifts, baths, can be found usually loving on all the dogs, and strives to attend vet school and one day take over Camano Canine Resort!
Mo & Murphy
Canine Staff
Meet Mo, a well-mannered Australian Shepherd with a calm and balanced temperament. His friendly and steady nature makes him an excellent choice for temperament testing. Mo thrives in social settings, adapting easily to new people and animals, showcasing the intelligence and loyalty his breed is known for.
Meet Murphy, a spirited young Catahoula mix with a sweet and curious personality. His playful energy and friendly demeanor make him a joy to be around. Murphy’s intelligence and adaptability shine through in every interaction, making him an ideal candidate for temperament testing!
Singleton
Canine Staff
Sir Singleton was born and raised on this property! He has an exceptional temperament and working drive – the perfect dog to introduce to new dogs for temperament tests! He is the bestest boy, takes his job very seriously, and eagerly welcomes scared or nervous dogs. His favorite past time is playing fetch with whoever will play!

We pride ourselves on working with some of the most dog-loving, self-motivated, and hard working staff! At Camano Canine Resort, we are a close-knit, caring group of employees and are occasionally looking part and/or full time help. If this sounds like a perfect fit for you, contact us with a resume! Positions start at minimum wage during trial period. Must be 18+ years old and be available on rotating weekends.
